This is our Retro in-board hydraulic disc brake conversion.
Improved braking power over the standard inboard cable operated disc brake.
More feel, safer and reliable, as used for many years on group 4 race scooters, custom and road going scooters.
Features
Screwed in hydraulic master cylinder with bleed screw.
Technical
We modify your existing disc brake back plate to have a screw in master cylinder.
Uses course threads, which stop cross threading, threads stripping and threads corroding.
Uses two hydraulic seals.
Development History
This is Mark Broadhurst's tried and tested hydraulic disc conversion.
We started development in 1987 using Kawasaki parts.
It has proved its self on racing and road scooters for many years.

Use Dot 4 brake fluid.
Change the brake fluid every two years.
Adjust your static pad regularly.
Check disc pads regularly.
Check hub for bearing wear.
Keep an eye on your tyre pressures.
Use a little grease or copper slip on threads before fitting.
